The primary purpose of TrendPrognosis.com is to share insights about stock market trends.
I learned about the stock market with the help of mentors who told me stories, shared resources, answered questions, and taught me to notice subtle qualities of stock market behavior. This site is an effort to pay forward the gifts my mentors shared with me.
I began studying the stock market in 1970 when my 8th grade class learned to read price quotes in the newspaper.
I noticed a rhythm of ups and downs in one stock and successfully predicted that it would rise or fall the next day for more than a week. My fascination with the stock market began with that experience.
I’ve learned to make steady money from trading, but am no more a master of the market now than I was as an 8th grader. The market accepts students, but bows to no master.

Financial markets are predictable because segments of price action fit together in a limited number of patterns that are not random. Markets are unpredictable too because there is enough variability in the patterns to hide the trend at some stages of development. I am fascinated by the market and spend a lot of time working to identify price trends so I can exploit them for profit.
